The CCNY Makerspace
A 3,000-square-foot prototyping and fabrication studio in the Grove School of Engineering, open to City College students, faculty, and researchers.
About the space
The CCNY Makerspace supports experiential learning alongside academic, research, and recreational fabrication. The space houses a variety of digital manufacturing equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC mills, plus testing and analysis instruments including DSCs and solar simulators.
It also offers ample work and meeting room, electronic prototyping stations, and consumables for electronic and mechanical prototyping.

How to get access
Three steps to your first project in the makerspace.
Step 1
Take safety training
Training sessions are posted on our calendar and are required before you use the space.
Step 2
Get cleared
Once you've completed training, you're granted access to the makerspace and its tools.
Step 3
Start building
Bring your project and get to work, Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM.
