For the spring 2022 semester the CCNY makerspace will be operating a 3d printing and laser cutting service for senior design students, school projects, as well as select personal projects.
There is a 20 hour time limit for printing jobs per person per week. If a course project team requires a longer print, you may include the emails of other members of your team to combine your quota for the week.
In person training times can be found on the calendar. No reservations required.

For lasercutting: Please attend the required training on setting up files to be lasercut. You can find training times on our calendar. We provide one 1/8” 12x24 inch sheet of acrylic or wood per person per week for free.
If a course project team requires more material, you may include the emails of other members of your team to combine your quota for the week.
If you will be sending material to be laser cut please include the date and make sure to include “Attn Louis Hernandez Makerspace” on the package. Also you will be asked about package information in the form.
